MRCP Part 2 Exam Dates and Fees for 2026 and 2027

MRCP(UK) Part 2 Written runs three diets a year, each with a short application window. Here are the published dates and fees from the Federation's exam dates page (https://www.thefederation.uk/examinations/part-2/exam-dates-and-fees). Check that page before you apply, since dates and fees are updated each year.
2026/3: applications 15–22 September 2026, exam 25 November 2026, results 8 January 2027. Fee £520 (UK) or £696 (international).
2027/1: applications 8–15 December 2026, exam 24 February 2027, results 9 April 2027. Fee £520 (UK) or £696 (international).
2027/2: applications 20–27 April 2027, exam 7 July 2027, results 20 August 2027. Fee £520 (UK) or £696 (international).
2027/3: applications 7–14 September 2027, exam 24 November 2027, results 7 January 2028. Fee £520 (UK) or £696 (international).
Each application window is only one week long. Test centres are allocated based on your application, with your preference considered but not guaranteed, and your venue and exam timings are confirmed three to four weeks before the exam. The Federation also offers an online Part 2 practice test: you register with an email address, can pause and resume with a restart code, and see the answers once you finish.
Study takeaway: pick your diet first and work back from it: the one-week application window closes about nine to ten weeks before the exam, so put the application dates in your calendar before you plan your revision. Then use the Federation's practice test to get used to the exam interface.
