TopQbank (“we,” “our,” “us”) provides an online question bank and exam preparation platform for medical licensing and certification exams. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: name and email address, collected when you create an account. Authentication is handled by our identity provider, which manages your password and login credentials on our behalf — we do not receive or store your password.

Payment information: when you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card number — only limited transaction details (e.g. plan purchased, amount, date) needed to manage your subscription.

Usage data: your exam attempts, answers, progress, and performance within the platform, so we can provide your results and exam history.

Analytics data: general usage information such as pages visited, approximate location (derived from IP address), device and browser type, and how you interact with the site, collected via Google Analytics.

To communicate with you about your account, updates, or support requests
To understand how the platform is used, so we can improve it

4. Cookies and Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Analytics cookies are only set after you provide consent through the cookie banner shown on your first visit — you can accept or decline, and change your choice at any time through . If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no usage data is sent to Google Analytics. Essential cookies required for the site to function (e.g. keeping you signed in) are not affected by this choice.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We share information with the following providers, only as needed to operate the service:

Stripe — payment processing
Google Analytics — usage analytics, only after you consent (see Section 4)
Sanity — content management for our educational content (questions, exam pages, blog posts); does not receive your account or usage data
Our cloud infrastructure providers, who store and deliver account data and platform functionality on our behalf

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and exam history for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 7).

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. To make a request, contact us at medexam@topqbank.com.

8. Children's Privacy

TopQbank is intended for medical students, residents, and licensed healthcare professionals. It is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect information from, children under 18.

9. International Users

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own. By using TopQbank, you consent to this transfer and processing.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
